Grove Loop Lab
Build an 8-bar loop that makes you bob your head.
$24
One-time purchase. Yours to keep, with every update.
Grove Loop Lab is where a track starts. Pick a groove, or start from nothing, and build an 8-bar loop one decision at a time: where the kick lands, which hats get ghosted, what the bass does between the kicks, and which notes of the scale carry the feeling.
The scales go beyond major and minor. Hijaz, Kurd, Bayati and Rast sit next to Dorian, harmonic minor and the pentatonic, with real quarter-tones where the maqam has them. Each one comes with a note on the move that makes it sound like itself.
Nine quests follow Module 1 of Grow Your Signature Sound, from finding your tempo to writing variation and contrast across 8 bars. Mentor notes react to what you build, and Lumi can hear the loop and change it with you. When it's done, export the full mix, three stems and MIDI for drums, bass and melody, ready for Ableton's Session View.

Questions
Can I use what I make in my own tracks?
Yes. Everything you build and export is yours to release, sell or perform.
Is this a one-time purchase?
Yes. You pay once and it's yours, including every update we ship to it. There's no subscription.
Where do I open it after buying?
From My Tools on the Holistic Music Academy (holisticmusicacademy.com/tools), logged in with the account you bought it on. It runs in your browser.
Does it work without Ableton?
No. Everything works in the browser. If you do use Ableton, the export drops straight into it, and every lesson has a “Try it in Ableton” note with the matching device and move.
Who is Lumi?
The Grove's AI guide. Inside the tool she can explain what she hears, answer questions in plain language and make changes with you. Ask Lumi has a fair-use limit of 40 questions a day.
Can I try it first?
Yes. The free preview runs right on this page, with no account needed. It has the real engine and the first lessons, so what you hear is what you get.
